syncreon has an opening for a Solutions Analyst based out of our Auburn Hills, MI headquarters.

The purpose of the Solutions Analyst:

• Manages all IT requirements within assigned plants, including both established and new plant launches.  This resource will act as a single point of contact between the extended syncreon IT organization and the plant resources applying proven communication, analytical and problem-solving skills in support of all IT initiatives within the plant.  Using the IT project management process the IT Solutions Analyst drives out the key business requirements from the plant user base, utilizes the internal syncreon IT support resources and translates the business problems into workable IT solutions.


• Take on the role of IT service level manager ensuring proper monitoring, coordination and communications are done during the day-to-day IT service support to the assigned sites.  In addition, the Solutions Analyst will hold regular IT service reviews with the site management.


• Coordinate effective and cost-efficient IT solutions (business application and infrastructure) for new and on-going projects and ensure on time implementation of solutions within the established budget.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Develop and manage IT related project action plans for initiatives


• Organize or attend customer/internal meetings to help ascertain IT requirements as required by plant management


• Expected to possess and apply a broad knowledge of all hardware, applications and processes utilized within assigned site(s)


• Ensure IT stability at site


• Budget administration and advisory responsibility for the IT capital and operational expenditure of the assigned site(s) and their own operational expenses


• Administration of IT purchasing and leasing


• Prepare risk assessments


• Assist in RFQ submissions by providing analysis of the requirements to determine software processes and hardware requirements

Knowlege required:

• Bachelors degree (preferred) in Computer Science or Information Systems


• Two (2) + years related experience


• Needs to be a first-class problem solver - logical and efficient with keen attention to detail.
