Position Purpose: Provides customers/prospects and sales personnel with advanced industry and technical product advice and demonstration support during pre-sales discussions focused on Energy/AEC industry. The ideal candidate would be an individual who has experience working within the Energy/AEC domain, in one of the following roles: Lead/Manager Plant Operations, Designer/Manager of Plant Development, Lead/Manager of Ops. Quality, Lead/Manager of Supply Chain or Industry Technology Pre-Sales for over 5yrs. Qualification is not limited to these roles. Experience working in the Energy/AEC industry and experience selling enterprise or author software are both highly valued. Position Responsibilities: ? Provides customers/prospects/brands/sales & marketing (CPBSM) with advanced technical product support during pre-sales discussions. ? Leads, coordinates, prepares and presents demonstrations and applications of Dassault Systemes product suites, specifically ENOVIA PLM solutions. ? Leads and works closely with CPBSM to resolve complex issues associated with pre-sales activities. ? Leads and participates in discovery meetings with customer's technical & business personnel and Dassault?s sales personnel to help in identify value, technical needs, criteria for satisfaction and answering advanced industry product development challenges & questions. ? Works closely with R&D liaisons by assisting in the development of product opportunities, prototypes & specifications. ? Observes, evaluates, invents and summarizes new opportunities in practices, process and technology and communicates these to the sales and marketing team and management. ? May provide follow-up support and post-sales consultations with customers. May train or mentor lower level information management consultants. ? Becomes the historian over the accounts assigned, understands the customer?s long-term plan for PLM, helps design that Plan with Customer and Sales and facilitates the coordination of resources to enable that plan.
Scope/Level of Decision Making: This position requires the individual to operate under minimum supervision with very wide latitude for independent action. The position applies advanced pre-sales support and knowledge in providing leadership, technical product advice and demonstrations within the Energy/AEC sectors around the Dassault Systemes PLM and other Brand solution suites.
Knowledge/Skills/Experience: This is a senior level position typically requiring 5 or greater years of industry, author or enterprise software domain experience. Requires a minimum of BS Degree or equivalent in related industry, some business experience related to Business Cases, ROI?s, presentations in front of executives and a technical discipline with knowledge of tools like MS Office, MS Operating Systems, Oracle, Computer Aided Design, Web Services, etc. and feels comfortable working with many software applications, understands author & enterprise applications and global business processes supporting product development within Energy/AEC industries. Proficiency in business re-engineering, business case development, value discovery and exposure to a wide variety of information management solutions in the Energy/AEC industry is preferred.
Must have the following: ? Speak fluent English ? Pro-active learner, always first to attempt something new ? Experience within the Energy/AEC industry ? Experience implementing author or enterprise solutions, best if PDM/PLM is a plus ? Experience with Data Management concepts, PDM, PLM, ERP, CRM, SRM ? Great presentation, support and consulting skills ? Great people skills ? Team player (have to be able to request help, coordinate and lead) ? Able to travel 40% to 60% (mostly day to 2 day trips)
