Our client, a leading provider of financial software solutions located in Jersey City, NJ, is in need of a Solutions Engineer for an outstanding permanent career opportunity.

We will consider recent College Grads with a Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Computer Science

Multiple positions - Looking for candidates with 1 - 3 years and 3 - 5 years of experience

The qualified Solutions Engineer will learn to provide flexible, high quality dynamic enterprise publishing solutions using the Client’s platform.

If you are the qualified candidate, you will work on the full life cycle of each project, from requirements gathering, through construction and project finalization. Duties include interacting with Fortune 1000 clients through the preparation of technical specifications, writing and developing product automations, creating test cases, and providing application level support to clients.

To be considered you must have more than one year in the following skills and experience:
Requirements
-Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Computer Science, or equivalent experience 

-Understanding of object‐oriented design principles 

-Demonstrated familiarity of design patters: MVC/MVP  

-Understanding of SOAP and Web Services 

-Proficiency in CVS or other code repository 

-Working knowledge of DBMS, specifically SQL Postgre/SQL or SQL Server (Transact‐SQL) 

-Experience with a programming language; C++, Java, C#  

-Demonstrated proficiency of JavaScript, CSS, AJAX, XML, XPATH, XSLT, HTML, HTTP  

-Linux and Windows skills 

-Excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential for this position

                        Must be willing to travel for client meetings 

                      
            Other Desirable skills:  

Proficiency in Korn Shell script language

Knowledge of JQuery framework 

Experience with automated publishing technologies  

Knowledge of page layout software; QuarkXPress or Adobe InDesign  

        Experience in the financial industry

Must have excellent communication skills!
