*This position is NOT a full cycle recruiting position, nor does it manage people. We are looking for a candidate with strong skills in the area of sourcing- i.e. networking in the community, finding creative ways to post positions/get the word out, job fairs, looking at ROI of postings, building a pipeline of qualified candidates for our customer service representative roles. It's a strategic approach, to help our on-site recruiting teams in Killeen, and Longview, TX.*
**You MUST be located in either Longview, TX or Kileen, TX and willing to travel occasionally to other Convergys locations from time to time.**
Dimension & Scope:
The Specialist, Recruiting is NOT a full cycle recruiting role. It will be soley responsible for sourcing qualified, diverse call center representative candidates in a high-volume, centralized recruiting environment. This individual will also have responsibility for tracking and measuring results of sourcing efforts and will work closely with on-site Recruiting Manager and recruiting staff.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
• Successful sourcing of candidates through a variety of on-line and in-person recruiting efforts.
• Event Management for assigned territory.
• Schedule and coordination for site events in their territory/coverage area
• Identify, develop and foster new sourcing opportunities for territory
• Advertising placement and co-management with the on-site Recruiting Manager and Regional Manager.
• Develops and maintains Sourcing calendar for location in their regions
• Market Intelligence for territory
• Complete competitive analysis for territory in conjunction with on-site Recruiting Manager.
• Execute sourcing strategies around college, military and mature demographics
• Work to identify business opportunities in markets with in territory (proactive position site for specific LOB for new business requests)
• Track and Measure results (attendance, qualified, disqualified, follow through reporting into hires and interviews, etc.)
• Monitors and tracks site spend with Regional and Recruiting Manager.
Education & Professional Certifications:
• Associate degree or higher from college or university.
Candidate Profile:
• RECRUITING and SOURCING EXPERIENCE REQUIRED. Six to eight years related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Call center or Staffing Agency recruiting/sourcing experience required
• Excellent knowledge of HR personnel practices and principles.
• Thorough knowledge of all applicable labor laws, especially ADA and EEO.
• Ability to work independently and be self-motivated using proficient planning, time management, and decision making skills.
• Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively and professionally with internal and external associates.
• Ability to generate new ideas and manage them into reality.
• Demonstrated ability to think and act strategically, with the ability to anticipate trends and assess consequences accurately.
• Must have proficiency with various software applications programs including Lotus Notes, Microsoft Word, and Excel.
