Sous Chef
Upscale specialty food store in New York City. - is seeking a professional and experienced cook looking to move into the next phase of their career, for a Sous Chef position in our busy location.
The ideal candidate must have Italian food experience and a strong work ethic for a fast paced environment where there is plenty of growth potential. Experience with banquet style cooking is a plus.
We are seeking someone creative yet responsible with:
-Minimum 2-3 years experience as Sous Chef in a fine dining establishment
(Italian cuisine is a plus)
-Excellent Management and organizational skills
-Ability to manage all Back Of House operations
(including training, scheduling, menu planning & costing, & inventory control)
-Flexible schedule
-Optimistic and energetic attitude.
-Strong desire to work on the line.
