Senior Specialist, Sales Finance
Job Responsibilities:
• Develop Value Proposition Documents for customers based on data, solution bundles, and populations being serviced through current solutions.
• Develop and manage process and strategy related to Customer Value Propositions template exhibits and materials. Build presentations which maximize the message that Healthways solutions provide the best value in the market place.
• Strategic Direction related to the Evaluation of prospective customers' populations and data for appropriate Solutions. Define and refine the process for creating customer targeting and benchmarking. Manage the processes and projects to create standards and data sets for customer targeting and the evaluation of targeting efforts.
• Evaluation of Competitive Market place - Decisions related to solution price which creates the best chance for a successful sale but also maximizes profitability
• Direct Communication with Executive Management related to customer pricing decisions and strategies. Participates in the creation of pricing and retention strategies for Health plan and Employer group customers.
• Sales Presentations with Customers explaining Healthways products and the value proposition for these solutions
• Strategy and Direction of Sales Analysis including but not limited to review Healthcare data and Summaries, evaluation of claims experience, opportunity to apply Healthways programs, estimation of program savings.
• Project work (Leadership and/or key participant) to include the ongoing refinement of pricing reflective of product/service bundles and the value creation associated with those bundles or packages.
• Coordination of activities and information transfer between Product Solutions groups, Sales and Marketing, and Market Business Units to achieve required support of current and future customers.
• Conduct ad-hoc planning and analysis as required to support senior management

Job Qualifications:
- Undergraduate degree required with a concentration in finance, accounting, economics or other related financial/analytical field required; graduate degree (MBA, MPH, MS) preferred.
- 10 -12 years of relevant business leadership experience in a healthcare environment required.
- Experience with Disease Management and wellness services is preferred.
- Ability to negotiate with internal and external partners in regards to customer strategies.
- Strong analytical skills with expertise being paid to presentation of findings and the development of logical and appropriate recommendations
- Prior experience working with Healthcare claims data including but not limited to an understanding of the impact of healthcare benefit designs, provider contracting methodologies, disease member cost and utilization profiles, and other data challenges.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, problem solving, project management, negotiation/issue resolution and leadership skills.
- Sales and/or Account Management experience is preferred
- Demonstrated ability to juggle multiple projects and create results.
- Must have the ability to understand the business from an operating and profitability perspective and apply that understanding as part of the customer targeting strategy.
- Ability to work effectively with all levels of management and other colleagues, demonstrating initiative and mature judgment.
- High level of integrity and commitment to confidentiality.
