Special Education English Teacher
Glenhaven Academy, a Justice Resource Institute program, is a private 766 approved residential school for adolescent females ages 12-22 with emotional and behavioral difficulties. Glenhaven provides a complete, high-quality educational experience for each student within a safe, therapeutic environment.
Our program is seeking a highly organized and professional candidate to serve as a licensed Special Education teacher with experience in high school level Science courses. The ideal candidates will be enthusiastic, patient, and have an understanding of utilizing and applying the Massachusetts Curriculum Frameworks for students in grades 8 through 12. Experience working with adolescents in an alternative school setting or treatment program is preferred but not required.
