What Product Support/Repair-Field and Depot contributes to CareFusion Product Support/Repair-Field and Depot is responsible for troubleshooting technical problems, diagnosing, analyzing and/or repairing products.






What is expected of you and others at this level in Customer Service, Technical for functional success

  • Communicates effectively with customers; listens to customers' needs and takes immediate action to meet them.

  • Demonstrates deep customer expertise; collaborates with appropriate parties to identify the drivers leading to business success.

  • Proactively develops and maintains technical knowledge in specialized area(s), remaining up-to-date on current trends and best practices;

  • Identifies opportunities to improve efficiency while providing flawless transactions, services and products; manages monetary assets and other resources to optimize cost effectiveness.

  • Measures and evaluates the effectiveness of protocols, programs or deliverables; compares measurement results to standards and takes immediate action to close gaps identified.

Accountabilities in this role


In this role you will be responsible for the daily processing and management of surgical instruments including: instrument inspection, preventative maintenance and repair/replacement processing; instrument & set reassembly; instrument set transport and retrieval; and inventory maintenance.  They will provide strong customer service support while having extensive OR exposure for coordination and problem solving.



Qualifications


  • BS or BA in Bus Admin, Communications or Computer Science or at least 6 years of related work experience

    • Excellent organizational, communication, and customer service skills 

    • Adaptable & flexible to work hours. 

    • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office

    • Previous customer service experiences

    • Posses problem solving capabilities

    • Good interpersonal skills

    • Good verbal and written communications skills (English)

    • Self Motivated, able to work independently with little or no supervision

    • Able to work standing

    • Preferred

      • Bachelors Degree in Biology, Marketing or Communication

      • Knowledge of surgical instruments, sterile processing, instrument management, and OR logistics and scheduling 

      • Knowledge of  the Operating Room or Medical experience
