Summary:

Promotes NADA University brand, products, and member services through website and digital marketing, including SEO, SEM, and social media.  Assists with the development and execution of CRM and event-based marketing initiatives. Responsible for web analytics of multiple sites and moderation of three private networking communities.  Generates revenue from sponsorship sales of online banners and directory listing. 

Essential Functions:

·         Launch and grow utilization of private networking communities for NextGen ATD, Academy, and 20 Group, including sales of online advertisements according to budget; monitor and report utilization

·         Develop and implement online vendor/speaker directory, including sales of listings according to budget; monitor and report utilization; recommend marketing initiatives and search optimization to increase utilization

·         Moderate private communities for compliance with user agreements, support with content generation and complementary resources, recommend marketing initiatives to increase participation among targeted groups

·         Develop and implement content, graphics, animation, user interfaces, and icons for digital marketing communications and social media

·         Update the various NADA U websites and pages, consistent with brand and marketing strategies, including product titles, descriptions, and placement to stimulate interest and sales

·         Track and report web and campaign metrics and provide recommendations for continuous improvement of content, navigation, traffic, and lead generation for NADA University components and products

·         Develop e-commerce element of annual marketing plan, including schedules and processes to ensure timely updates, quality control, and communication of changes

·         The employee must have the ability to travel up to 30%.

Non-Essential Functions:

·         Support exhibit events with setup, staffing, and staff training

·         Assist with graphic design and copy writing, development of collateral, direct mail, and CRM initiatives.

·     Actively monitor digital marketing trends and participate in conferences,

   workshops and professional groups to maintain awareness of current

   technology and practices.             

Qualifications:

Education and Work Experience

·         Undergraduate degree in Marketing or related field.  Two years proven experience in internet marketing and social media applications.  Ability to implement principles of branding and assist in development of a comprehensive marketing and advertising plan using exhibit, print, digital, website, and social media.  Excellent oral and written communication, copywriting, and planning/organization skills required. Computer proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite 5, social media platforms, content management systems, and Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) are necessary.  Experience with HTML, Flash, and metatags are preferred.
