Job Title: Spectroscopic Scientist

Call:

Leading Boston, MA based semiconductor company is seeking experienced spectroscopic scientist to lead semiconductor spectroscopy group.

Minimum Requirements:

Eligible candidates must demonstrate strong competence in ultrafast transient spectroscopy, time resolved photoluminescence, low temperature photoluminescence, electroluminescence, cathodeluminescence, auger spectroscopy, absorption spectroscopy, deep level transient spectroscopy of semiconductor materials and devices.  Applicants must have proven track record of independent research leadership, proficiency in spectroscopic instrumentation, and capacity for multi-initiative collaboration.

Candidate Qualifications:

·      Ph.D in Material Science, Physics or related condensed matter field.

·      5-7 years postgraduate experience with semiconductor spectroscopy

·      Experience with team leadership and extensive knowledge of compound semiconductors

·      Extensive experience with spectroscopic instrumentation (UV to visible)

·      Competence in semiconductor processing

·      Work experience in the semiconductor industry
