This once in a lifetime opportunity is available for a creative, high-energy, experienced Spice Market Manager who will assume full P&L responsibility for our newly created spice division.  As the exclusive licensee of a newly patented process, CMS is well positioned to become the market leader in the industrial, food processing, food service and consumer segments of the food industry.     

Key responsibilities include:

-   managing the entire product development life cycle from conception to product launch and use in the field;

 - specifying market requirements for current and future products by conducting market research;

 - sourcing key suppliers for the product line;

 - analyzing potential partner relationships for the product;

 - develop new products from existing ideas, and help to develop new ideas based on industry experience and contact with customers and prospects. 

The successful candidate will possess the following:

-  technical knowledge in categories including ingredients, ingredient blending techniques and food packaging;       

- bachelor's degree in business, marketing, organizational management or related field; 

 - minimum of 5-10 years ingredient experience;

 - exceptional communication and presentation skills (both written and verbal);

 -a unique blend of business and technical savvy; a big picture vision and the drive to make that vision a reality; 

- attention to detail and strong organizational skills;

 - possess a high level work ethic and exhibit a strong sense of ownership;

 - computer literate using Word, Excel and Outlook.
