Speedo, a division of Warnaco Inc., has an exciting opportunity for a talented Sports Marketing Coordinator to join our Los Angeles team. While reporting into the Sports Marketing Manager, the Sports Marketing Coordinator will coordinate all Speedo sports marketing efforts within athlete, coach and team aquatic sports.  In addition this role with collaborate with fellow sports marketing associates, on tracking sponsorship expenditures and assist the sales team in driving sponsorship ROI.

In addition, your primary responsibilities will include:

• Contract Management of sponsored teams by way of overseeing/approving process for Coach Outfitting, National Meet Outfitting, and Promotional Support.
• Coordinate Team Dealer's operation of sales booth at National and Grand Prix Level meets.
  
  
• Provide on deck support at major events
  
  
• Coordinate with Team Dealers to ensure Teams are in accordance with signed contracts.
  
  
• Work with Team Dealers maximize sales among Sponsored Teams
  
  
• Develop specialized knowledge of the US aquatic sports market
  
  
• Work with Team Sales in executing Sales Programs and Promotions
  
  
• Liaison for Team Dealers and Sales Team to relay trends and popular requests with Speedo merchandising teams
  
  
• Coordinate communication between Sports Marketing Department and Speedo Sales Reps and Team Dealers
• Work with Marketing to expand Speedo involvement and use of digital media and web based tools to increase sales and market share in team business  

In addition, the ideal candidate will have:

• BA degree in related field
• 0-3 years experience in Marketing, Sports Marketing, or aquatic sports grassroots
• Background in competitive swimming highly preferred
• Sales experience or education helpful
• Work with department assistant on clerical items, as needed
