Responsibilities:
- Provide for the installation, inspection, and service of Access Control, Burglary, and CCTV Video Systems division of Mitec
- Independently manage small jobs to include all necessary communication, parts and labor to ensure customer satisfaction through to completion.
- Provide customer training and support as needed for proper system operation.
- Communicate daily with customers at all levels and provide job updates to office as needed and upon conclusion of jobs.
Qualified candidates should possess:
- A minimum of 2 years experience in installation and servicing of access/security/video systems with 5 or more years industry experience working in commercial environments being preferred.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills required.
- Must be knowledgeable of low voltage wiring standards, techniques and NEC. State licensing is considered a plus, but not required.
- Proficiency at panel terminations, computer configuration, software installation, and LAN/WAN troubleshooting skills is a must.
- Experience with Microsoft Outlook, SQL, and Access.
- Ability to work independently, with a sense of urgency and ensure high-quality work is consistently achieved.
- High school education or equivalent experience is required. Individuals with an Associates degree in mechanical or electronics is preferred
