This division has a number of business units. Among these is Molex Kiire, the business unit created to accommodate the 2008 acquisition of Fuchigami Micro.

Integrated Products Division: Produces higher-level assemblies utilizing Molex interconnect technologies, typically in printed circuit board, fiber optic, flex circuit and other applications. Its business units span a wide variety of applications.

PRIMARY PURPOSE:

Applies basic and advanced accounting theories and concepts in support of Shared Services Accounting Manager with month end financial close including preparation of various accounting statements and reports. Reconciles accounts and prepares commentary as required. Coordinate accounting matters with other departments or divisions.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Responsible for timely and accurate completion of accounting journal entries for month-end close. Analyze balance sheet and cost center spending accounts ensuring month-end balances are accurately stated.
2. Consolidate regional P&L, Balance Sheet, etc. at month end. Provide variance analysis support to shared service cost center managers as required.
3. Participates in the annual budgeting process. Works with shared services cost center managers on planning and forecasting next year’s budget. Provides analysis and insight on current year trends.
4. Work with internal and external auditors to gather, organize, and summarize the required financial information for quarterly and yearly reviews. Information required will range from account reconciliations to analysis of P&L items including explanation of major variances.
5. Reconciles and analyzes various accounts providing commentary as needed.
6. Work on special or periodic projects as needed including revenue / expenses analyses, cost justifications, and fixed asset reviews / reconciliations.
7. Understand, support and contribute to current Molex Total Quality Management (TQM), Six Sigma, International Standards Organization (ISO) and Environmental, Health and Safety (EH&S) Management Systems by following stated policies and procedures.
8. Performs other related duties as assigned by management.


EDUCATION

Required:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting.
Preferred:
Certified Public Accountant (CPA), Certified Management Accountant (CMA) or MBA.

WORK RELATED EXPERIENCE:

Required:
5 to 7 years of progressive accounting experience.
Preferred:
2+ years experience with a Big Four accounting firm.

SKILLS:

Required:
Strong PC skills.
Thorough knowledge of Windows & Microsoft products, i.e. Excel, Word, Access, Outlook.
Thorough knowledge of accounting principles. Effective verbal and written communication skills that demonstrate the ability to express ideas and exchange information clearly and concisely.
Organization skills to anticipate, plan, organize and self-monitor workload.
Problem solving and analytical skills that show the ability to apply a disciplined, logical, and comprehensive approach to problems and decisions and the ability to analyze quantitative information.
Presentation skills that demonstrate the ability to prepare and deliver concise and effective presentations relative to financial data.
Preferred:
Previous experience or demonstrated ability to work in a team environment. Ability to handle multiple tasks/projects. Experience with SAP and Hyperion.
