NETGEAR is looking for an energetic and seasoned Sales professional with passion for the Networking, Storage, and Security industry. Ideal candidates have experience working in a dynamic environment and rapidly-growing marketplace and understand the ins and outs of two tier reseller IT industry.
Responsibilities:
The Sr. Advanced Technology Field Sales Manager will concentrate efforts on named high profile VAR’s and end users. This position will be responsible for the strategic relationship, revenue, P&L and strategy for these accounts. This position will be required to travel 3-4 times per month depending on where the candidate is located.
Specific responsibilities include:
- Meet and exceed predetermined revenue objectives while continuously creating and cultivating opportunities for profitable revenue generation
- Grow marketshare within these accounts
- Own all marketing, training, promotions, and development of pipeline for these accounts.
- Develop key strategic relationships within these accounts
- Become an expert in the design and implementation of NETGEAR Storage and Security products, and be proficient in the use of new product features.
- Be a key contributor of the US Channel Sales team fostering a positive, achievement-oriented environment, while supporting and maintaining the company’s culture and reputation of integrity
Special Requirements:
- Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales quotas
- Ability to establish and accomplish goals with limited direct supervision
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to effectively interact with a wide range of personalities

- A fluid understanding of the sales and channel sales process
- Must be capable of independently presenting NETGEAR solutions to current and potential customers
- In-depth knowledge of Storage products and ability to learn from others
Education: College degree preferred. BS/BA in Business or related field/work experience. Certifications a plus.
Experience: 10 years in sales or comparable experience. Candidate must have experience calling into the channel and have significant knowledge of the NAS/SAN space and who the players are.
