10 Sr. Aircraft Structure Mechanics Needed! Responsibilities: The Palmdale Manufacturing Center - where multiple aircraft are being developed, manufactured, and maintained - is in need of top line aircraft mechanics to support our growing business. If you are selected to join our team, you will perform all the tasks associated with aircraft build activities. Our mechanics are multi-talented individuals who may have a specialty, like structures, but will be trained to work in other fields like systems, electrical, low observable, etc. We are seeking dedicated professionals who can work with or without established planning documents and drawings to drill, dimple, file, grind, trim, countersink, install assemblies/sub-assemblies/parts, sand, paint, seal; as well as, other similar tasks. Our core work schedule is 4-10 (M-Th) on 1st and 2nd shift; however, you must be willing to work any shift or schedule. Some travel may be required. Shift: 40 hour workweek either 1st Shift (4/10 Mon-Thurs) OR 2nd Shift 3/10 (Fri-Sun). Workweek: 4/10 or 3/10. Requirements: Must be a US citizen with an active Secret clearance. Preferred qualifications: Ability to read blueprints and basic production work plans.
