PRIMARY FUNCTIONS

Responsible for the day to day management and financial analysis of specific items related to Corporate Health and Welfare Benefit Plans and Work-Life Programs. Primary responsibilities will include:

-Processing, monitoring, tracking billing and invoicing (claims, premiums, fees) with all benefit vendors
-Financial data aggregation, reporting, and analysis (claims, administrative fees for self insured and insured active/retiree medical, dental, life, prescription drug, disability, vision, stop-loss plans) for two distinct business groups
-Monthly cost reconciliation with medical carriers, finance and accounts payable
-Flexible Spending Accounts - Funding and Reconciliation
-Support Total Rewards Statements project
-Support management of two medical carriers, and life insurance, disability, vision, dental, concierge, and administration vendors
-Manage activities related to outsourced administration for all plans
-Partner with HRIS and payroll to ensure appropriate flow of data to support administration of H&W plans

SECONDARY FUNCTIONS

-Support benefit communications activities working with Senior Benefit Analyst responsible for communications and wellness as needed
-Support renewal and negotiations by identifying trends and providing necessary data
-Respond to HR and employee inquiries on escalated issues that cannot be resolved by administration partners
-Participate on benefits/compensation project task force(s)
-Provide support, as needed, to Manager of Benefits and Director of Benefits
-Participate on cross functional team(s) addressing compensation and Total Rewards matters

Candidate will have heavy interaction with payroll, HRIS, business Human Resources, Finance, benefits outsourcing vendor, as well as all other vendors that manage the L'Oreal Benefit Plans. Candidate is responsible for the support of Corporate Vice President of Total Rewards and Corporate Benefits Director.

QUALIFIED CANDIDATES WILL:

-Have strong benefit financial analytical abilities
-Possess a college degree in a related field
-Have 3 + years experience in a benefits management-related function
-Have superior customer service skills
-Have strong financial acumen
-Be detailed and quality oriented
-Exhibit a professional attitude with a keen sense of urgency in completing tasks
-Have excellent organizational skills
-Have the ability to take direction from several people and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
-Have the ability to maintain complete confidentiality of employee records
-Have proficiency (advanced capability) in Microsoft Office Suite of products:
- Microsoft Office - Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Microsoft Outlook for Email, Calendar, Contacts, Scheduling and Task management
