What Financial Planning & Analysis contributes to Cardinal Health
Financial Planning and Analysis is responsible for Providing financial analysis and reporting to support management decision-making.
What is expected of you for success in your role
- Demonstrates working knowledge of financial statements and analytical techniques
- Assesses accuracy of data based on comparisons to budgets and/or forecasts
- Creates simple forecasting and financial models
- Prepares and analyzes basic monthly actuals to budget/forecast variances
- Researches variances to understand business trends
- Explains own analyses and forms conclusions

Accountabilities in this role

- Proper classification of accruals and expenses
- Experience with SOX compliance & control guidelines
- Balance Sheet Reconciliation
Qualifications
- BA in accounting or finance or a related field
- Minimum 2 yrs experience
- Strong communication & analytical skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Business Objects Experience
