What Financial Planning & Analysis contributes to Cardinal Health


Financial Planning and Analysis is responsible for Providing financial analysis and reporting to support management decision-making.





What is expected of you for success in your role

  • Demonstrates working knowledge of financial statements and analytical techniques

  • Assesses accuracy of data based on comparisons to budgets and/or forecasts

  • Creates simple forecasting and financial models

  • Prepares and analyzes basic monthly actuals to budget/forecast variances

  • Researches variances to understand business trends

  • Explains own analyses and forms conclusions

  • Clear and Accurate understanding of Financial Statements

  • Proper classification of accruals and expenses

  • Experience with SOX compliance & control guidelines

  • Balance Sheet Reconciliation





Qualifications

  • BA in accounting or finance or a related field

  • Minimum 2 yrs experience

  • Strong communication & analytical skills

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office

  • Business Objects Experience

  • Travel Percentage: 10%
