This position is located in our NC, Elizabeth City facility
This tasking includes, but is not limited to:
1. Responsible for completion of the MPC revisions. Research CG22s, QA
completed documents.
2. Develop and maintain the ACMS database for Asset maintenance requirements.
3. Develop and maintain the Asset configuration.
4. Resolve data discrepancies pertaining to asset maintenance. Each incident resolved is
reviewed to determine the source, and possible preventive measures.
5. Resolve data discrepancies pertaining to Asset operations (EAL and ACMS status and
transfers)
6. Resolve data discrepancies pertaining to asset operating statistics (ACMS/EAL).
7. Verify and correct user errors using the Graphic User Interface (GUI).
8. Review Significant Component History Records (SCHR) ensuring logical sequence of
recorded events and updates as required.
9. Enrollment data verification.
10. Verify Part Number and Manufacture name exists in the database, and consolidate
errant part types if discovered.
11. Review logical sequencing of events and aging (Used parts)
12. Enter concise statements to describe history events as needed (Used parts).
13. Ensure currency of maintenance requirements: Scheduled and unscheduled (TCTOs,
S/Bs, special inspections).
14. Verify status and ensure proper approval for components that users request to be
scrapped or condemned.
15. Verify status and ensure proper approval for user requests to make inactive components
active.
16. Validate asset and components Time Since New (TSN) logical growth.
17. Periodically review life limit requirements for changes and applicability.
18. Periodically review the component-monitored list for validity.
19. Maintain the Part Number/Manufacturer table integrity.
20. Routine research to include isolation of individual transactions in data cataloged by job or
event in ACMS, Asset Statistics, and Operations or Electronic Logbook tables. Typical
ACMS research includes resolution of part installation/removal sequences and aging.
Requires BS/BA degree.
• Minimum 2 years of experience working with Electronic Asset Logbook (EAL) Preferred.
• Minimum 5-8 years hands on experience in aircraft or ship board (Preferred) maintenance. A combination of specific aircraft/ship board maintenance background and logbook management is essential.
• Coast Guard Asset Maintenance background including related maintenance documentation.
Requires 5-8 years experience.
• Familiar with computer use including word processing, spreadsheets and relational database software.
• Expertise in the use of Microsoft Office programs: Excel, Word, MS Project, PowerPoint.
• Must possess strong organization and communication skills in order to provide outstanding customer technical support
