Sr. Business Analyst — Brentwood , TN

This position is in the Clinical IT team. The team is responsible for development and support of all Clinical applications for Davita, Inc.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Interact with Central Business and Facility end users to gather requirements for clinical software systems.
- Accountable for documented requirements and Functional Specifications
- Develop and maintain committed dates, milestones and deliverables
- Manage the Change Control process, managing scope within project constraints
- Status reporting
- Facilitate application design sessions and work with the development team during the development phase
- Co-ordinate with QA and ensure User Acceptance Testing
- Assist with quality assurance tasks, including test plan documentation, test data preparation, defect tracking/resolution, root cause analysis and resolution
- Assist with system implementation and rollout
- User documentation and training
- Production Support
- Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Healthcare Informatics, or relevant clinical degree.
- 10+ years of relevant experience in Clinical setting
- 5+ years as a Business/Systems Analyst on IT projects
- Experience with different software development life-cycles.
- Healthcare industry experience required.
- Must have experience using some Project Management methodology
- Must have a thorough understanding and experience using Requirements Management process
- Must have experience using a Change Control process
- Experience with Project Management and Requirements Management tools is highly desired
