Description:
Volt Workforce Solutions has partnered with a company in Kent, WA and we are looking for a Sr. Business Analyst.
the successful candidate will: Major Duties and Responsibilities:
" Analyze business application requirements for functional areas including finance, manufacturing, engineering, marketing, sales, supply chain, and human resources.
" Formalize and document business, functional, technical and supplementary specifications in a manner consistent with software development methodology and standards.
" Make recommendations on system changes and enhancements in consultation with business users and IT colleagues.
" Assist in the design, code, integrate, test and debug of application software.
" Develop and continually improve software systems development lifecycle methodologies and processes utilizing best practice industry standards and tools.
" Assist with user training and third-line support activities as necessary to ensure successful adoption of software systems.


Requirements:
" Very strong experience with Microsoft Dynamics AX 4.0/2009 in a manufacturing environment.
" Highly experienced with ERP systems (including Financials, Sales Order Fulfillment, Mfg/MRP, HRIS and CRM/SFA applications),
" Very strong knowledge and experience instituting SDLC methodologies (Agile, RAD, Waterfall, etc) and supporting tools.
" Knowledge of engineering support applications (including PDM/PLM, CAD/CAM software).
" Knowledge of modern programming languages, development methodologies (such as RUP or MSF) and tools (IDEs, CASE tools - e.g. MS Team Suite, Sparx EA, Rational Rose) is needed. Particular expertise in the design, development, and deployment of enterprise-level N-tier applications on the MS .Net platform with MS SQL server would be an asset.

Education and/or Training
" Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent combination of experience and training.
" Minimum of five (5) years experience in a technical setting, to back up your obvious talent.
" Dynamics AX, APICS, and MCP certifications are a plus.
