Responsibilities:

• Responsible for leading requirements elicitation activities with assigned internal and external clients.
• Analyzes requirements for accuracy and completeness and validates requirements with stakeholders.
• Documents detailed requirements  and communicates requirements to stakeholders. Includes providing definitions of data, system edits, user interface mock-ups, and information on user experience.
• Manages client expectations and deliverables
• Gathers estimates for work based upon requirements analysis
• Performs status reporting, scheduling, and communications
• Supports the quality assurance process by serving as requirements subject matter expert and assisting with identifying root cause of defect
• Provides support to internal and external clients and technical staff to define solutions for business needs

Qualifications

• 4 + years of experience leading requirements elicitation, analysis, documentation, and communication activities for projects of moderate to large complexity
• Experience coordinating requirements activities for multiple business analysts
• Strong proven ability to work in a leadership role with major clients and internal staff
• A strong understanding of the technology implications related to strategic business issues
• Understanding of application software and hardware architecture principles
• Ability to develop solutions that are in the best interest of the client
• Knowledge of software testing principles and practices
• Strong analytical ability
• Familiarity with source/document control programs
• Ability to work and lead in a team environment
• Strong knowledge of the software development lifecycle and software delivery best practices
• Ability to serve as a mentor to other Business Analysts on the team
• Understanding of Business Analysis processes and standards and the ability to apply those standards in themselves and in their peers
• Familiarity with the insurance industry is a plus
