Sr. Business Process Analyst

About the Job

 

The business process analyst is responsible for analyzing business process performance, identifying areas for improvement and make proposals for process optimization and harmonization efforts, globally or regional business processes within functional domain.

 

Responsibilities include, but not limited to:

  • Establish an extended team of business experts to formulate effective and holistic processes
  • Facilitate design and re-engineering workshops
  • Model processes in support of documentation, coordination with the IT requirement specifications, compliance and effective communication
  • Liaison between our internal business clients, external service providers, information technology, controlling, financial assurance and compliance
  • Coordinate local teams, remote client and remote development teams (such as India, Pune)
  • Monitor, provide status and manage the transition to proposed processes.
  • Validate solutions effectiveness (Quality and Test) with business clients and information technology
  • Support the realization of Return on Investment (ROI) commitments

 

  • Bachelors level degree in Computer Science, Business Administration or related field.  Master's Degree in a related field preferred
  • Experience with SAP systems is preferred. 7-9 years of experience in ERP implementation and business process improvement
  • Minimum of 4-6 years of working experience with enterprise business process modeling applications and systems
  • Solid understanding of business process modeling concept, strategy and processes. Ability to translate business and requirements into well-designed and workable solutions
  • Clear communication with business leads on processes and change management aspect
  • Ability to work with global team, offshore staff and top management on business process strategy and re-engineering
  • Proven experience in creating business process documents, gap analysis, new solution development, functional specifications, test data creation and testing, test conversion programs and validate conversion loads. Functional expertise to make configuration recommendations.
  • Demonstrates the ability to apply multiple areas of business process knowledge to successfully meet broad work objectives within a functional domain
  • Fundamental proficiency to demonstrate change management processes in practical and moderately difficult situations
  • Facilitation skills: fundamental proficiency to facilitate meetings where subject is complex
  • Demonstrate ability to grasp and apply advanced analysis concepts to solving problems of a difficult nature
