An opportunity currently exists within our Information Technology department for a Senior Business Systems Analyst for Oracle Financial.

 

CAREER OPPORTUNITY #:  5406

 

POSITION TITLE:  SENIOR BUSINESS SYSTEMS ANALYST FOR ORACLE FINANCIAL

 

DEPARTMENT:  BISD-BSG-SDA-HR-FINANCE-ADMIN           

 

POSITION SPECIFICATIONS:

-Bachelor Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent work experience required

-Minimum five to seven years business systems analysis experience required

-Experience on at least one significant team-oriented systems project required

-Proficient in requirements elicitation, requirements analysis and documentation, requirements communication and solution assessment and validation required

-Proficient with relational database concepts, data modeling and database query tools preferred

-Proficient with quality control and quality assurance testing techniques preferred

-Experience dealing with software vendors and supporting vendor products preferred

-Experience in corporate accounting support functions preferred

-Upgrade and/or implementation experience of purchased applications (Oracle Financials, Oracle Incentive Compensation, etc.) preferred

 

MAJOR DUTIES:

-Fulfill Customer Relationship Manager (CRM) role to Corporate Accounting by facilitating customer meetings when needed, maintaining and publishing CRM request list for assigned relationships, establish fixed frequency meetings to discuss request list, progress on yearly objectives, communicate and obtain information on new and/or changing initiatives and create and publish meeting agenda and minutes

-Determine business objectives and document project scope

-Develop and publish requirements specifications that exhibit robustness

-Develop, publish and execute test plans. May include preparation of test data

-Determine and prepare estimates

-Develop and manage schedule for small project initiatives

-Provide data/reports to assist business in making decisions

-Evaluate business needs, recommending best fit solutions such as purchasing third-party software, integrating multiple software applications or repairing current applications

-Provide general consulting and support to system customers and handle requests for system enhancements

 

HOURS/LOCATION:

-8:30 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. (Overtime as required)
