BASIC FUNCTIONS:
Plan and procure material requirements for Icon Sports Brand.
Draw up master schedule to establish lead time or each operation to meet completion dates according to sales forecasts or customer orders.
Manage optimal inventory levels.
Achieve target cost savings.
Plan sequence of operations.
Analyze production specifications and capacity data and perform mathematical calculations to determine production processes, tools and human resource requirements.
Confer with department supervisors to determine status of assigned projects.
Expedite operations that delay schedules and alter schedules to meet unforeseen conditions.
Prepare production reports.
QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:
MRP knowledge; 3-5 years purchasing experience.
Willingness to get involved and make decisions.
Work well with people.
Excel spreadsheet experience.
Good communication skills.
PLUS FACTORS:
Knowledge of SAP inventory management and production planning modules.
APICS certified.
