Consultis is currently searching for a Senior C++ Applications developer for a direct placement opportunity with our well respected client in St. Petersburg, FL.

* You will be consulting with Managers and Software Engineers, gathering program information.
* Documenting requirements and designing/implementing new product features
* Coding required software changes to provide necessary functionality
* Creating tests to uncover errors and ensure software meets specifications;
* Analyzing code to locate causes of errors and modify programs;
* Writing and maintaining design documentation and software changes;
* Reviewing other developers' technical documentation to ensure consistency with all program operations.

Requirements:

A B.S. in Computer Science or equivalent experience is required, Masters preferred

Required Skills
* 2 years experience developing Windows applications using object-oriented design and development in C++.
* 2 years experience in MFC and Win32 APIs,
* 2 years experience with ATL and COM
* 2 years experience Windows and Windows CE, including registry, processes/threads, DLLs, and security.
* Experience with design and implementation of intuitive UI's;

Desired Skills
* Experience with OCR, scanning/imaging technologies, video rendering, and text-to-speech.
