Major Responsibilities:
The Sr. Claims Manager will work with Claims Operations to implement operational excellence that supports the deep technical competencies and customer service focus of the Claims organization. The Manager will work closely with Claims and other business partners to effectively understand the unique needs of the Claims organization and develop, recommend, and implement solutions for meeting these needs including process mapping, division of labor, and the allocation of technology/tools across the multiple lines of business supported. They will serve as a key project team member and support business process improvement projects from conceptualization through implementation. Additional areas of focus for this key role include oversight and refinement of the Claim Operation’s core financial metrics such as the outstanding check report, duplicate issuance verification report, pending inventory report, and other reports and metrics as needed.
