Sr. Claims Trial Attorney

Position Description:
The Claims Legal Department is in search of a Senior Trial Attorney that works together with the team to protect the interests of insureds and clients. The ideal Attorney along with his/her team will be providing high quality representation in a cost effective manner which will accomplish the organizational business goals of The Hanover Insurance Group and the Claims Department.
Position Requirements:
Must have a Juris Doctorate Degree with at least 10 years of experience.
Must be admitted to the bar and must be licensed to practice law in Louisiana.
Must have extensive insurance defense jury trial experience.
Trial attorney experience with a property and casualty insurance company would be preferred
Significant experience with commercial lines litigation.
Insure that legal interests of clients are protected and that information is consistently provided to Claims professionals and clients so as to resolve cases in the most cost effective manner.
Must be able to lead change and support and promote change.
Must have Lexis/Nexis experience, and be technologically savvy.
Admiralty law experience a plus!
Must have a valid driver's license and a clear motor vehicle record.
