Job Description:
Summary:
Responsible for supervising the credit decision process for an assigned Commercial Loan group. Monitors decisions of Sr. Underwriters and ensures systems and work flow meet appropriate standards.
Responsibilities:
Oversees underwriting of most complex commitments, policies and endorsements.
Manages and trains a team of underwriters.
Examines information written by company examiners and approved attorneys regarding status of title to real property to determine its insurability.
Typically underwrites most complex loans ranging from $50 MM to $100 MM.
Job Experience:
Basic Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree.
• 7 years Commercial Credit Underwriting experience.
