Sr. Corp Counsel, Retail/Operations

Our legal department is looking for a senior counsel to support its rapidly growing retail businesses. Senior counsels have responsibility for structuring, drafting and negotiating commercial transactions, ranging from product supply, distribution, service, promotional, content and licensing transactions. This position also provides day-to-day business law counseling; administers and resolves legal issues that arise in existing commercial relationships; and assists with pre-litigation legal disputes and inquiries.

This position will report to an associate general counsel.

Successful applicants will be able to demonstrate:

• 7+ years of relevant legal experience (with at least two years at a top law firm) as a transactional attorney.
• You should be enthusiastic, enjoy working hard and being challenged.
• You will demonstrate sound judgment even in ambiguous situations. 
• A J.D. degree from a top law school and membership in one state bar is required.
