Sr. Corporate Development Analyst

Working closely with Senior Director of Corporate Development to help develop M&A strategy, identify potential M&A targets, research companies, conduct in-depth company financial and valuation analysis and market analyses and perform due diligence. Position will require extensive spreadsheet modeling and PowerPoint presentation work. - Develops and maintains complex financial models which support management decisions to act upon corporate initiatives and acquisition targets.
- Performs research, cost studies and benchmarking to support financial and operational assumptions.
- Designs and maintains reports that measure the results of developing businesses vs. plans.
- Performs due diligence and post-closing acquisition reviews.
- Assists other members of the finance team and other functional teams in developing processes and policies for new business initiatives; examples are system interfaces, cost tracking, credit analysis.
- Prepares budgets for corporate initiatives and acquisitions.
- Provides ad-hoc financial analysis and reporting.
- Communicates results of financial analysis and research, both verbally and in writing, to all levels of management.
- Prepare materials for presentations for senior management.
- Works cross-functionally with other business units.
- 3 to 5 years experience in public accounting, corporate finance, investment banking, or private equity
- Software/Technology background strongly preferred
- BS/BA degree in Finance, Economics or Accounting strongly preferred
- Team player with strong attention to detail
- Advanced MS Excel, PowerPoint, and database skills are required
- MS Project skills a plus
- Superior organizational and communication skills
- Ability to handle multiple deadlines
- Proactive approach to learning new skill set and accelerated learning curve
