Description:

Our client is looking for Data Analyst with following skills:
Develop data cleansing plans, scripts
Develop data migration plans
Develop Business Rules, processes and implementation guidelines for maintaining and updating client data
Assist in establishing data to support all testing efforts
Prepare discussion diagrams, process diagrams, to explain and support business and IT management decision making
Research data issues/questions and find root causes
Develop Data Conversion Scripts, Reports
Develop Data Profiling reports
Blend of technical and business skills is required to work across multiple teams.

Skills (Must)
Experience with cleansing, migrating and building the business rules required to load the data in production database.
7+ years of experience as a data-cleansing analyst for datawarehouse, data mart, business intelligence systems.
Experience with Implementing Data Quality Controls.
Strong 7+ years of writing data cleansing and conversion scripts in PL/SQL, SQL.
Excel 2003 /Access DB macros programming experience writing data conversion scripts.
Hands on experience with data cleansing tools such as Netrics, Win Pure, Infosphere Quality Stage (One or Two)
Experience working with Multidimensional Models, ETL Tools such as SSIS, Data Stage, Information (One or Two)
Work Independently with minimal supervision
Experience with SDLC Methodology.
Experience developing test scripts and use cases for unit testing.
Good Communication is a must
Preferred:
SQL Server 2005 DB experience preferred.
Prior Financial Services exp. is preferred.
Familiarity with any reporting tools such as crystal, Microstrategy is preferred.
