Product Specialist:  Employer

The Product Specialist is responsible for supporting the technical product needs of SnagAJob.com’s Employer Services team.  The product specialist will be the link between product, sales, and employer services to ensure that all needs are being met pre- and post-sales.  The product specialist works hand in hand with the product managers and product planner to communicate and support the employer services team to meet the business objectives for employer sales and client services.  

Job specifics:

1.       Pre-Sales Support.  Help the account executives and account managers by answering questions and being a resource for demos, presentations, and technical discussions.  Be the go-to-person for all issues—ranging from what features are currently available to how integration will work.

2.       Post-Sales Support.  Assist the client services team in taking clients from a signed contract through go-live.  Provide client training, address integration questions, and do what it takes to get the client up and running quickly with the best possible experience.

3.       Trouble shooting.  Ask hard questions, dig into the data, and drill into the root cause of problems.  Jump in and do everything you can to figure out the root cause and help product and engineering get the problem fixed and fixed correctly.  

4.       Communicate.  Look for common problems and themes and report them back to the product managers so long-term solutions can be crafted.

Key responsibilities:

·         Technical product expert including knowing all aspects of the products and being able to answer questions to internal and external stakeholders

·         Serve as second-line support to all users, internal and external

·         Troubleshoot and dig into technical aspects of the products to find root cause

·         Summarize findings and investigations to provide findings and recommendation to product managers and product planners

Additional responsibilities:

·         Training for new clients and internal users

·         Product demos for clients and prospects

·         Assist in creating product documentation

Qualifications:

·         Extensive experience in troubleshooting and working with technology and websites

·         Exceptional communication and experience in communicating with internal and external users

·         Exceptional analytical and problem solving skills

·         Solid knowledge of web standards, applications and services, and user experience design

·         Motivated, driven, and intellectually curious

·         Team player who is willing to do what it takes to get projects done

·         Highly disciplined and metrics-driven

·         Self-starter with ability to manage multiple issues in a fast paced, entrepreneurial environment

·         Product management and/or Business Analyst experience preferred

·         Knowledge of Agile development, Omniture, and database query tools

·         Bachelor’s degree required
