Senior Enterprise IT Analyst/Developer


 


The successful candidate will join a tight knit group of highly skilled software engineers who have designed, developed, and integrated both in-house digital software applications as well as a high availability fully virtualized corporate information technology infrastructure.


 


Position Description:


 


This senior-level IT professional shall possess strong analysis and communication skills to lead software development initiatives that will enhance and extend applications currently in place and create new applications to improve overall workplace automation and efficiency. This individual will be responsible for interfacing with end users and company management at all levels to analyze and define business processes, specify application requirements, design and build custom designed software solutions, as well as identify, evaluate, recommend and integrate applications.


 


Key Responsibilities and Duties:


 


As a Key Contributor responsibilities and duties include:


 


• Ongoing development, improvement and enhancement and maintenance of the Company’s proprietary suite of sales and administrative software applications.


• Analysis, design and development of new and the enhancement of existing multi-tier business applications uniting user presentation interfaces, business logic, and data access into flexible and robust software systems.


• Support management reporting needs by creating high quality reports and dashboards converting data into information using Crystal Reports, SQL Report Services and others tools as appropriate.


• Participate in decisions related to current and future computer hardware equipment and systems purchases, installation, maintenance and upkeep.


 


Requirements:


 


• 10 years IT experience creating business software applications utilizing the waterfall, iterative,   agile and/or extreme software development life cycle approaches.


• Bachelor degree (Computer Science preferred) backed up with a broad range of practical hands-on experience in a variety of disciplines.


• Technically capable to develop desktop, client-server and web based applications and utilities that link to SQL databases and selected off the shelf software packages.


• Strong analysis, communication, prioritization, planning and performance execution skills as well as profession maturity and leadership skills.


• Must be skilled and technically competent to influence and collaborate with mid-to high-level managers to conduct reviews, resolve issues and improve controls and practices.


• Skill in graphical programming details including the creation and 2-D transformation of jpeg graphics files using Microsoft .Net GDI+ and matrix image affine transformations, linear transformations (rotation, scaling, shear) and other vector and matrix mathematics desirable.


 


 


Pluses:


 


• Experience/proficiency manipulating graphical images and matrix transformations desirable.


• Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP) proficiency and expertise on multiple certification


tracks is a definite plus.
