The Sr. Director of Corporate Development will report to the VP, Corporate Development, and will be a key participant with senior management in establishing strategic plans and objectives for the company, with a primary focus on the company’s acquisition strategy.
This position will have the following responsibilities:
o Develop strategic initiatives for the company, including market expansion opportunities, new market entry opportunities, and vertical go-to-market approaches.
o Lead and participate in all aspects of the acquisition process including identifying prospective target opportunities, performing strategic and quantitative analyses, conducting business and financial due diligence, determining appropriate valuation and deal structure, negotiating deal terms, driving activities to closure, and coordinate post-close integration.
o Lead and manage cross-functional teams of internal experts throughout the diligence and integration processes.
o Serve as a key resource for executive management in understanding and making decisions on the growth options available to the company
10+ years experience in corporate development, investment banking, private equity, or consulting
o A demonstrated track record of success in M&A transactions
o Demonstrated ability to lead M&A activity and negotiate transactions
o Strong experience conducting detailed due diligence, with demonstrated experience producing and presenting analysis, valuation, and recommendation materials to senior level management
o Strong skills in strategic and quantitative analysis, and complex project management
o Strong communication and interpersonal skills in order work directly with a broad group of senior executives throughout the company
o A demonstrated ability to work cross-functionally, manage teams, and supervise outside professionals
