Mindspark Interactive is seeking an Online Marketing Virtuoso - someone who is passionate about all things web related, can juggle multiple priorities, go with the flow, and help us take our conversion rates to the next level.
The Sr. Director of Online Direct Marketing will report to the SVP of Marketing. This is an opportunity for a highly motivated individual to get involved with key aspects of marketing for a major Internet brand.Strong organizational and analytical skills, as well as expertise in CPA, CPM, Site Conversion, SEM, SEO and email marketing are required. Experience with social media is a plus. The ability to adapt quickly and multitask will be the keys to success for this position.
Responsibilities:
- Manage an SEM team to ensure visitor, sign-up, subscriber, and sales targets are achieved while keeping cost per acquisition metrics within goals.
- Identify new advertising opportunities, negotiate terms and execute agreements, and implement techniques for improving campaigns.
- Manage a team of Marketing Managers and work closely with them to report, analyze, and optimize campaigns.
- Produce and analyze weekly, monthly, and quarterly reports measuring the performance of online marketing campaigns.
- Lead efforts to improve Site Conversion by developing testing programs to optimize conversion of all key site landing environments. This conversion will also require delivering a web site/online experience that is significant enough to drive such conversion.
- Manage acquisition email program developing offers to convert registrants into members and developing strategies for list growth. Directing search and affiliate agency to meet business performance objectives.
- Manage SEO improvements working with technology and user experience departments.
- Implement promotions via social media channels to create awareness and drive customer acquisition.
- Track and measure online advertising programs; designing test strategies and creative to optimize results
- Ensure effective creative development and execution to support programs and media efforts.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 7-8 years of relevant experience
- Minimum of 3 years management experience
- Direct Response Marketing experience a must
- Experience in Direct Response Marketing
- Knowledge of MS office software: Excel and PowerPoint, as well as experience with site analytic tools such as Site Catalyst
- Proven ability to create new and maintain existing relationships with 3rd party ad networks and ad publishers
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to operate in a high-energy, high-intensity and rapidly evolving environment
- Ability to think creatively for solutions to challenges with a willingness to test multiple solutions for the best result
- Bachelors Degree or MBA in Marketing, Advertising or Business Management preferred
