CoreMedical Group has been asked to help this 1,000-bed, very well-respected facility in the Washington D.C. area find a Senior Director of Medical/Surgical Services for their World-Class Patient Care.
About the Position
Approximately 70 beds fall under the blanket of Medical/Surgical Services
Approximately 100 FTE's
Position reports directly to the Senior Vice President of Nursing
Salary will range from $130,000-$140,000 /Annually
Provides administrative oversight to designated nursing departments in the Division of Nursing (DON). Oversees and recommends special projects for the DON. Performs complex analyses and provides high level independent judgment and expertise. Oversees development, administration and management of a DON budgets, executes, direct financial functions for and ensures compliance with policies that support the DON
Requirements
Must possess a Master's Degree in Nursing, Healthcare Administration or Business
(no exceptions)
Must have at least 10 years of progressively more responsible job related experience, and at least five of that must be in Highler-Level Managerial or Administrative Nursing
Must either possess or obtain a Registered Nursing (RN) license in the District of Columbia
