We are currently looking for a Sr. Electrical Engineer/Substation Engineer with experience in power generation, distribution and transmission in Amarillo, TX.  As a Sr. Electrical Engineer in this facility, you will have the opportunity to:

• Perform transmission planning tasks that include; power flow and contingency studies, North American Electric Reliability Corporation/NERC Compliance Studies, modeling database maintenance, dynamic and voltage stability studies, and preparation of capital budget items.

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering (BSEE)
• 3-5 years of experience in electric/power generation, distribution & transmission
• Engineer-In-Training certification

Our most successful engineers have some or all of following skills:

• Master’s of Science degreein Electrical Engineering is desirable. Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) and Licensed Professional Engineer certification (PE)

• Membership in Professional Society (Associate or Member Grade) and/or Technical Societies (Associate Grade) preferred.
  
• Experience in project management
