This position is located in our KS, Topeka facility
GENERAL SUMMARY: Leads, analyzes, designs, develops, and implements modules relating to fulfillment, supply chain planning and service management functionality of Oracle E-Business Suite; works under limited supervision; performs additional duties as assigned.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Designs, develops, codes, tests, and debugs complex new software products, or makes significant enhancements to existing.
2. Researches and integrates design strategies, product specifications, development schedules, and user expectations into product capabilities.
3. Resolves complex hardware/software compatibility and interface design considerations.
4. Lead and participate in highly complex projects with USPS customers, managers, end-users and GDIT team.
Requires BS/BA degree in computer science or related field.
Requires 5-8 years of applicable experience in software development.
SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
1. Experience in implementing modules relating to fulfillment, supply chain planning and service management functionality of Oracle E-Business Suite.
2. Understanding of the Oracle implementation methodology.
3. Understanding documentation of RICEWF components and ensure document compliance.
4. Understanding of Oracle's Mapped Business Requirement documents (BR.030) to assist in the evaluation of accuracy and completeness.
5. Understanding of Oracle's Business Requirement Scenarios documents (RD.050) to assist in the evaluation of accuracy and completeness.
6. Understanding of Oracle's Business Flows documents (MD.050) to assist in the evaluation of accuracy and completeness.
7. Understanding of the Oracle BR.100 document. Ensure document meets USPS needs by assisting in evaluation of accuracy and completeness.
8. Ability to mentor/train USPS personnel on BR.100 documents, what to look for, etc.
9. Ability to provide recommendations on configuration and setup parameters based on other Asset Management implementations.
10. Assist USPS in identifying and documenting gaps in the Oracle product set.
11. Provide recommendations on business process changes based on other Asset Management implementations and Oracle functionality.
12. Support Implementation of SEAM.
13. Support Integration and configuration of SEAM.
14. Support production of RICE components.
