Position Overview:
The Sr. Enterprise Strategy Manager will define and drive Tellabs Enterprise strategy globally including aligning corporate support to ensure success of Enterprise go-to-market strategy on a global basis.
Global experience and ability to formulate corporate strategies in the area of Enterprise market penetration and sales. Ability to organize and align multiple functional organizations including sales, marketing, product development, services, legal and finance towards a common Enterprise go-to-market strategy.
Oversee the creation, implementation and ongoing management of regional specific strategies that target the enterprise segment in North America, Asia-Pacific, Latin America and Europe
Deep knowledge of the Enterprise selling process through channels with a focus on market verticals such as Financial, Health Care, Transportation, Utilities, Education, State and Municipality governments. Experience should include formulating strategies to understand how the end users purchase solutions within these market verticals including decision process and buying criteria, understand the channel ecosystem and the competitive landscape for similar product areas.
Understanding of channels that serve these vertical(s) including types, value propositions that channels provide to the market, needs of channels from vendors including margins, support, branding, etc. A history of creating channel programs and competitive initiatives is strongly preferred.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's Degree, preferably in Business, Marketing, or Communications or equivalent experience.
• At least 10 years of sales experience a requirement with experience of positioning/selling optical and data solutions to enterprise customers preferred
• Experience in developing channel strategies with focus on Enterprise verticals. Strong preference of current North America relationships with key potential channel partners that can provide North America and/or global channel presence for Tellabs solutions.
• Ability to navigate senior C level relationships at end customers and partners.
• Experience in with positioning/selling optical and data solutions to enterprise customers preferred
• Channel sales experience is a firm requirement.
• Collaborative approach and ability to work well with others is a must.
