Job Description: Facilities/Field Engineer







Field Engineer responsible for the design, installation, maintenance and operation of electrical, mechanical and HVAC infrastructures in an OCONUS environment. Extensive temporary duty assignments may include travel to hazardous/dangerous locations. Individual will conduct site surveys, troubleshoot problems at various sites, install and maintain HVAC and electrical equipment and perform preventative maintenance.







Required Skills:







BS plus 6 years relevant experience or equivalent education and experience is required.







Experience with customer's facility design and operations.







Understanding of the principles of designing, installing and operating diesel generator systems, voltage regulators and air conditioning systems.







Requires current TS Clearance with the ability to pass a Full Lifestyle Polygraph for continued employment.







Desired Skills:



Familiarity with Department of State Overseas Building Office requirements and procedures.



Knowledge of MS Office applications such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, Access, and Project, plus Lotus Notes.







Required Education (including Major):



BS/BA or equivalent experience.
