Position Description:
Corn Products International, Inc. We are currently seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to assemble financial data, perform financial analysis and provide sufficient periodic financial information to support the North American capital spending and ensure profitability and sustainability of the North American business.
Key Result Areas:
Capital Planning -To assemble, analyze, and organize capital spending information and the expected benefits.
Market Segment Analysis - To assemble, analyze, and organize market segment data in order to improve the profitability of the North American Business.
Costing Support - To assist in the preparation of manufacturing cost data and production cost data as it relates to the implementation of production costing in SAP for the North American group.
Financial Reporting - To prepare, analyze, and evaluate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial results in order to provide full understanding of such results. Assist in identifying opportunities and risks associated with such results, and compare results to relative benchmarks (i.e., goal or LE).
Selection Criteria:
1.) Must be able to analyze financial results and assess financial/strategic impacts of business decisions independently.
2.) Must have an understanding and be able to perform DCF-ROI analysis and variance analysis. Knowledge and understanding of differences between various cost accounting methodologies is required. Must be able to analyze financial results and assess financial/strategic impacts of business decisions.
3.) Must have a working knowledge of balance sheet, income statement, cash flow and working capital analysis.
4.) Demonstrated experience and knowledge of executive information systems, with advanced knowledge in the use of Excel. SAP knowledge is desirable.
5.) Strong written and verbal communication as well as presentation skills. Must be able to convey information to all levels of the organization in a clear, focused, and concise manner.
6. Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business or Accounting, plus at least one of the following professional credentials: CA, CPA, or CMA. Cost accounting experience is a plus.
