Compressor Controls Corporation (CCC) has serviced customers in the Turbomachinery Controls industry for over 30 years.  We serve customers in markets such as oil and gas, chemical, pipelines, petrochemical, refineries, LNG, steel mills, pharmaceutical, machine-building, and power generation including new construction and retrofit, and turbomachinery OEMs.

SUMMARY:

Lead the company’s Financial Planning & Analysis function.  Automate tools and drive business principles and financial performance at the project level.  Lead superior compliance results.  Develop automated S&OP process.  Support international operations.  Analyze operating results in terms of costs, budgets, operating policies, trends and increased profit opportunities for the company.

 

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS/DUTIES:

Enhance Profitability – Implement process to formalize profit assurance on a project level basis.  Develop automated tools to better assess profitability on a business segment and application basis.

 

FP&A Operational Excellence –Meet business planning and financial reporting requirements on a US GAAP basis.  Lead fiduciary role that ensures internal controls are in place and effectively protect global asset base.  Provide support to international entities on an as needed basis. Lead Rep/Distributor approval process and evaluate performance of existing Reps/Distributors.  Deliver simple, timely, consistent and insightful strategic and operational analyses.  Develop accounting procedures and policies including periodic review and analysis to improve efficiency and effectiveness of processes.

 

Business Planning – Develop automated 18 month rolling S&OP process.  Scorecard forecasting process and implement enhancements to deliver targeted precision.

 

Follow all company code of conduct and safety policies and procedures.

 

Respond to change productively and handle other duties as required.

 

 

 

 

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE: 

A Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or related field from a four-year college or university required plus seven or more years of experience in a related Accounting/Finance field is preferred; or equivalent combination of education and experience.   CPA (or equivalent certification in country of work) and/or MBA is also preferred.  A qualified candidate will have experience in the following areas: public accounting; working with US GAAP and strong internal control/SOX environment; a progressive record of success; experience working with IFS ERP systems and international work experience a plus.

 

WORKING CONDITIONS:     

The noise level in the work environment is moderate to moderately high.  Domestic and/or international travel required.  Travel to Italy, Des Moines and Abu Dhabi on occasion.
