Job Description

Accounting Liaison/Assistant Controller needed in Pensacola, FL. Co-ordinate the preparation of budgets and forecasts, provide analytical support in interpreting and understanding financial results and assists in analyzing new opportunities, manage the revenue and income reporting for the respective area.

Qualifications :
Requirements: Bachelors degree with major in Accounting Preference for Masters in Business Administration or Finance. Ten+ years in an accounting department with three of those years in a supervisory capacity. Minimum of 2+ years of recent experience working in the Natural Resources industry. Knowledge required - Thorough understanding of theory and application of accounting principles. Ability to prepare and interpret all financial statements and reports. Oral and written communication skills to provide effective communication with all internal and external contacts both in routine and non-routine situations. Adept at operation of personal computers and utilization of common spreadsheet and database applications for purposes of performing analytical tasks on an as needed basis. Ability to assist in the development and implementation of major accounting sub-systems and provide for their ongoing processing and maintenance. Strong analytical skills required and ability to interpret and explain results of analysis.
