We are seeking a qualified candidate for a Sr. Financial Planning & Analyst position in our Alpharetta, GA office.
This position is responsible for SEC reporting, Operations Reports & Metrics, development of the corporate budgeting, forecasting, analysis and special SOX related and other related projects required. A major focus in this position is the design and implementation of financial models to analyze trends and predict future performance and make fact based recommendations. This role requires the ability to think and work independently but necessitates working in a team environment.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
• Prepare, complete and document all relevant SEC (10-k and 10-Q filings) and other regulatory reporting
• Research and resolve reporting issues, where some expertise is required to interpret policies, guidelines and/or processes
• Responsible for the more complex accounting and analytical activities and projects with minimal supervision
• Design and implement financial models and trend analysis
• Analyzing performance and working closely with various levels of senior management on budgets and performance management
• Acts as a key contact for various internal organizations with the ability to communicate succinctly and interpret financial results in non-technical accounting terms to business leaders.
Qualifications and Education Requirements:
• Recent and relevant SEC experience
• Recent SOX compliance experience
• Proficiency with Excel essential, exposure to a major ERP system - COGNOS preferred
• Client Service driven with excellent communication and relationship management skills
• Flexible, adaptable and hands on approach
• Requires attention to detail and solid documentation techniques
• CPA with public accounting experience preferred
• 7+ years relevant industry experience
