Requirements:

- Undergraduate degree in Computer Science or Business related studies preferred
- Excellent communication and organizational skills necessary
- Must be a team player and able to work with end users in order to identify business needs and translate them into practical system and reporting designs
- 5+ years experience MS SQL Server administration, MS SQL certification a plus
- 5+ years programming experience with Visual Basic, VB.Net or C#
- Proficiency in T-SQL programming
- Experience with Agresso, SAP, or other industry leading GL systems a big plus
- Background in financial applications required, previous experience with general ledger preferred or insurance industry experience

Description:

Overview of Responsibilities:
This position is responsible for working within the Comptrollers Department to provide information systems functions to meet their business application needs and reporting.

Typical responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
- Turning user requirements into effective system designs and reports
- Provide systems support for Agresso general ledger system
- Develop financial reporting applications to enhance the investment accounting department’s capabilities to produce more effective reporting and financial information
- Setup and maintain testing, QA, and development systems for Agresso general ledger
- Install, maintain, and support SQL Server Databases supporting financial applications
- Design interfaces to support data from various outside sources, which will be brought into existing applications
- Develop implementation and migration plans to transition outdated field office general ledger systems to new systems

This position is located in Wilmington, Delaware. Relocation will be considered on a case by case basis.
