We are looking for someone to join a dynamic team of individuals who are creating Gas Detection Sensor Technology. This is a growing industry and we would like you to be a part of it. You will have the opportunity to work with both Digital and Analog Design. The detection systems are comprised of low current, clean signal, analog sensor detection technology. You will also have the unique opportunity to use your project management skills to run projects as needed.
As part of this project team, you will:
· Work with marketing to develop functional requirements
· Develop hardware architecture
· Cooperate with other team members to develop hardware design requirements and specifications
· Provide estimates of hardware efforts required to complete a project.
· Develop new products in a high volume capacity
· Participate in existing product support
· Design hardware consisting of analog, digital, and microcontroller based circuits, to meet the hardware specifications. (You will be designing products and direct PCB layouts to meet EMC requirements.)
· Develop verification and validation test plans
· Lead design reviews, FMEA's, and perform tolerance analysis
· Perform testing to ensure design requirements are met
In this comprehensive role, you will be responsible for managing projects, not limited to hardware. As a project manager, you will handle all aspects of project management including project planning, scheduling, execution, risk management, budget tracking, and leading the project team to successfully launch a project on schedule using MS Project.

Basic Qualifications:
· BS Degree in Engineering or at least 10 years related experience in the gas detection industry.
· 10 years (5 years if in gas detectors) experience developing analog, digital, and microcontroller based circuits
· 3 years experience in a project engineering capacity with at least 3 indirect reports
· 3 years EMC experience.
· 1 year experience in Stage Gate Development
· 3 years experience with schematic capture tool such as Orcad and/or DxDesigner from Mentor Graphics
Additionally Desired:
· 5 years working with MS-Project.
· 5 years experience working with customers and conducting voice of the customer sessions.
· Experience Planning and manage timely completion of hardware tasks
· Extensive risk assessment experience
· Experience with gas detection products
· ISO work environment background
· Familiarity with Agency standards such as UL, CSA, ATEX, EN50271, SIL.
· UL2075, UL268, and UL2017 is highly desired
· Six Sigma certification
· Ability to read and speak French is a plus
