This position will be responsible for all security functions in accordance with NISPOM for the Alexandria and Orlando offices. The key roles include acting as Facility Security Manager, Personnel Security Manager, Information System Security (ISSM) and Educator/Trainer.
Administers the Company programs for handling and safeguarding classified and proprietary information. Conducts self-audits and coordinates with government and industry oversight agencies to facilitate inspections/audits of security programs and systems. Writes policy and procedures for Company compliance with government requirements. Prepares written guidance detailing specific activities to comply with requirements. Develops and conducts security education/awareness courses and materials. Investigates security violations and prepares reports detailing procedures to prelude future occurrences. Coordinates with government agencies to obtain authorizations, interpretations, and acceptable deviations/exceptions to compliance with regulations. Develops and maintains the information management system for control of classified materials. Establishes and maintains databases for records of employee clearances and incoming and outgoing classified visits. Develops and administers security plans for information systems (IS) processing government classified data in accordance with government customer requirements. Conducts self-audits of classified IS systems and participates in audits by government customers. Provides classified computer security education classes and awareness media. Strong Knowledge of Windows XP and Vista. System Administration experience is a plus. Investigates classified computer security violations, implements corrective actions, and prepares reports specifying preventative action to be taken in the future. Manage personnel security clearances through the access of JPAS
Skills Required:
- 5 to 6 years minimum Security experience with TS Clearance
- Bachelor degree
- Working knowledge of NISPOM
- Experience with processing personnel security clearances
- Experience with classified processing and System Security Plans (NISPOM Chapter
- Strong Computer skills (Windows XP and Vista)
- Some travel necessary
