Sr. Instructional Designer (Consumer Banking Experience Required)

We are working with our client in locating a Senior Instructional Designer with experience in consumer online banking. You will manage several design projects simultaneously for a multitude of functions using XML curriculum development tools. You will be responsible for designing and developing industry-leading training solutions for online banking call center representatives and back office personnel. Ideal experience would include creating training for customer facing personnel in an online banking format with subject matter related to customer offerings (CDs, money market accounts, savings accounts).
Required Skills:
Bachelor’s degree in Instructional Technology, Education or related field highly preferred
10+ years Instructional Design and Curriculum Development experience including developing instructor-led and web-based training
Must have proficiency with XML Authoring tools, graphics editing applications, and eLearning development tools such as Adobe Captivate
2+ years experience creating training for consumer banking products required (CDs, money market accounts, savings accounts and personal loans)
Ability to define appropriate learning technology, ie; multi-media, classroom, web-based, computer-based, distance learning self-study classroom, self-study for results focused learning
Strong knowledge of banking regulations
Proficiency in project management tools and learning solution protocols
Ability to manage multiple projects within timelines and budget parameters while meeting or exceeding client satisfaction
Proficiency with Fiserv end-user tasks a plus
Start Date: ASAP
Duration: 4-6 months
Location: Chicago, IL, Phoenix, AZ, Wilmington, DE, or Salt Lake City, UT (some telecommute work possible for the right consultant).
