Job Description
Primary responsibility for direct supervision of Consultants in executing internal audit projects, with direct, client-facing engagement responsibilities. Demonstrates an ability to provide excellent client service and assist team members in developing technical and professional competencies. Has the ability to identify areas of risk and opportunities to improve business processes, and is able to teach these skills to those reporting to them. Has the ability to lead those below them and also keep the Manager well informed of the status of the project. Responsible for ensuring that the team reviews the appropriate areas, follows the audit work plan, performs appropriate testing, escalates issues, and develops fact based conclusions based on the work performed. Assists in the overall management of the engagement including findings tracking, management of status updates, etc.

Qualifications : Bachelors degree required. Strong consideration for Accounting, Finance, or Business related majors. 3-5 years of audit experience at consulting firm, Big 4' or fortune 1000 company. Financial Services experience is a plus. Professional Certification such as CPA or CIA preferred Prior project management and supervisory skills Ability to interact with and lead others in a team environment Strong written and verbal communication skills including documentation of findings and recommendations An ability to lead meetings (including those with the client) and present findings accurately and in an organized fashion. Strong analytical skills and an ability to research and document findings using fact-based though processes Knowledge of business process and related risks. Sound organizational and job administration skills, and an ability to successfully manage projects to budget Proficient in supporting Microsoft applications (i.e., Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Visio and to a lesser extent Project and Access) Knowledge of auditing processes and methodologies, including attribute testing, sampling, and flowcharting Knowledge of Sarbanes-Oxley Act provisions and methodologies for achieving compliance
